Dads Stand Up Denver is bringing fathers together for our first social event at Ace Eat Serve. But this isn’t just a night out — which I know can be a hard bargain with our wives and partner. It’s an intentional gathering for dads who want real connection with other guys who are leaning into this whole fatherhood thing.
Here’s what to expect: good food, competitive ping pong, and conversation that actually goes somewhere.

Yesterday, Cleveland dads brought #BigDadEnergy to Cleveland as we kicked off our first gathering of Dads Stand Up CLE! Over bowling, drinks, and food Dad‘s from across Northeast Ohio connected, shared stories and advice and planned what’s next for this amazing community.

Every young person deserves to feel supported, connected, and on a path that leads somewhere meaningful.
But right now, too many boys and young men are navigating systems, in education and beyond, that just aren’t working for them.
Across Virginia, I’ve seen people stepping up to change that. Teachers, parents, mentors, and community leaders doing the work every day to help young men find their footing and move forward.
Now it’s time to meet that effort with real, statewide action.
Abigail Spanberger has signed HB1188, creating Virginia’s Boys and Men Advisory Commission - the first of its kind in the nation.
This is a step toward understanding what’s not working and building something better.
I’ll be listening and learning in the months ahead, and I hope you’ll be part of it. Because getting this right will take all of us.

Real dads show up. And yesterday, we proved it.
We rolled into Alexandria with a route, a crew, and one mission: deliver furniture to families who needed it most. They told us to expect five hours. We wrapped in just over two. The Dad Speed Run is officially a thing. 🏁
Here’s what Big Dad Energy actually looks like: dads navigating trucks, dads in chase cars, dads hauling furniture down hallways, dads coordinating with families at every stop. Every role covered. No experience required. Just show up ready to work.
After the route? We gathered for breakfast — real talk about dad life, a lot of laughs, and a crew that’s only getting tighter. We scheduled our next event before we even left the table.

Because here’s the truth: Dads need community.
Too often, fatherhood can be lonely. But that hasn’t been our experience, and it doesn’t have to be the story of Cleveland dads.
We know what happens when dads do show up for each other. So we’re building something, together, and bringing some Big Dad Energy to Cleveland.
