3 days left Louisiana. Make your voice count. Show up and boot Amendment 2. Vote NO on Amendment 2 and say no to St George Schools. Our kids deserve the to be protected. All kids deserve a quality education regardless of socioeconomic status.
It’s the “shut up, boy” implicit in his rabid, bloodthirsty efforts to disenfranchise Black people for me.
He said it in committee, verified by several witnesses.
He also said it three times with those maps he filed. Then he kept repeating it with every vote the committee cast that just robbed us of the equal representation the census data PROVES we deserve.
Louisiana is 1/3 Black but the map they passed at 4:30 am, the map they passed after 10 hours of debate and after killing the only fair map by Senator Price, only gives us a 1/6 representation in our congressional delegation.
They think killing the map with zero Black representation should‘ve bought our silence, and we’re just supposed to be grateful they let us have ANY representation at ALL.
