Dear Arizona, You gave me 3 sold out shows for my solo show. Three opportunities to reflect and bring this show live on stage. Each show was a different experience to embrace the beauty of live performance and leaving it all on the stage; wherever I do this show. It can be a coffee shop, a theatre, or bathroom lol. I didn’t want to limit myself where I can bring this show, where there’s a space and people ready to receive this story. let’s do it. The Tucson show was the opening of the shows run and I had a car accident 1 hour before the show. Thankfully we wasn’t hurt and still manage to get to the show and regroup myself to perform. The Phoenix show felt like my hometown, New York. 100 people were there, The energy was electric, I felt on fire on stage, polished and in a zone. The Mesa show, was intimate, even more raw, vulnerable, and moments where I was so transported back in those moments with the characters in the story, that I lost my footing and needed time to regroup myself. I surrendered to the moment because now this wasn’t a “show” we are now in a “experience” that can’t be recreated. Embrace it and keep going. One thing was consistent in each show, You gave me love, support, laughs, connection and lifted me up with your feedback. You will forever be in my heart. Thank you for connecting to this story and thank you for the embrace. The journey with this show will continue as I will keep sharing it, learning from it, having fun and challenging myself and my artistry to next levels within. There’s no short cuts to the craft, you have to do the work, to love it and to have fun. I appreciate all my friends, the creative community and the new connections I met on this AZ journey. I look forward to how this show will continue to evolve the more I do it. With all my heart. Thank you Arizona for the space to be free, to be me, and for letting my inner child live a dream that turned to a reality. Much love ❤️❤️❤️ #storytelling #storyteller #performance #performer #spokenword

Wow, so I just received news that my show won the award for “Best Comedy” at the Tucson Fringe Festival. This show is dedicated to my inner child, my wife and daughter. This award is dedicated to them as well, I wouldn’t have a show if it wasn’t for them blessing me with their support and journey to share this story. Thank you to everyone that came to the show, thank you to everyone that supported my work throughout the years. I’m just so humbled, honored and thankful. I just keep thinking about the years, the tears, the healing and the joy I had creating this show in a small room. I’m grateful for all the no’s I received, ignored emails, my text messages left on read, when I’m just looking for support, and a opportunity with commmunity to do this show. I kept finding a way and I believed in this show and I knew the right people will allign in due time. All you need is one yes, some faith, some love and grace to push you through. Thank you to those that said yes and offered help towards myself and craft. Thank you to the storytelling community, poetry community, improv community, Every creative place in Phoenix, Tucson and New York that gave me an opportunity to work my craft. Thank you to my sister and angels for protecting my family and I, during that car accident on the day of the show. Thank you for the strength to pull through and perform. Thank you to myself for not giving up. The Journey with this show continues. MUCH LOVE TO ALL 🙏❤️🥹🥲
