Tomorrow night we gear up for the second installation of our free rave. Big soundsystem, stellar line up and lots of bass. @beat.symposium bad boy @dablears joins us for some jungle and some dread. Blears, a local DJ and party starter with roots in Manchester has an ear for heavy duty breaks and percussion. Having headed up some of Copenhagen’s more underground events in 2023, Blears now actualises drum and bass worship in the form of his musical project Beat Symposium. We’re still coming down from their recent day party in which he brought Doc Scott and DJ Sofa to the arena, and his narrative continues in the form of a monthly show on local broadcast Radio Panini.

Between them, their sounds represent a culmination of their history in both the North and South of the UK, boiling down into a blend of UKG, bass, breaks, techno, and plenty of dread. DJ Lukey has been in Copenhagen for a year now, bringing to parties wobbly UK techno from Bristol and London. Committed to dance floor experiences that remove identity from the DJ booth and instead from the crowd.
