PAX East 2026
I’ll never not be excited for PAX East. We’re always nervous right before this show since it’s always where people get the first look at the new show aesthetic for the year. Thankfully, people got it immediately and absolutely loved PAXLand.
Thanks to anyone who made their way through the merch line to grab some swag (that jacket looks great on you), or took photos with our new mascot Blip. Thank you to the friends who kept me fed and socially charged while I did what felt like seventy laps or so of the entire MCEC (sorry I couldn’t hang more).
It’s rare I go home from a show already excited for the next one, but I’m already stoked to see everyone again on our home turf in August.

Foxy Shazam @ Showbox SODO - 12/08/25
I remember my first time catching a Foxy Shazam show so clearly. As I was paying for my ticket at Headliners (Toledo, OH) I heard the venue sound guy complain loudly about how “Foxy owes us another Mic cable”. I peeked my head around the corner and saw a man Tarzan swinging out over the crowd while another with a giant beard stood stomping full force on his keyboard.
That was probably around 2007, and it has been since then that Foxy Shazam cemented themselves in my head as the most entertaining live act I’ve ever seen or had the privilege to photograph.
Thanks for the fantastic show guys, and for the years of letting me photograph y’all before I knew what half of the settings on my camera meant. Hopefully the next time wont be 15+ years later.

PAX Unplugged 2025
Easily the best Unplugged yet. Hands down.
These last three months have been super tough with back to back to back shows. It was fantastic to close out the year with such a positive one. Thanks to all the new and old friends who took the time to chat or hang. Special thanks to @redhatjessy for all the help covering as much as we could possibly manage. Also apologies if you didn’t get a tag, ran up against the limit trying to get everyone!

Dark Room @ PAX Aus 2025 - 10/11/2025
If you ever have the chance to see Dark Room live in person, do yourself a favor and cancel all your other plans. To call it a stage show would be reductive as John spends a majority of the set sprinting through the crowd wearing football pads a pair of stompers that rival the pairs in the Mario Brothers Movie (1993). It’s an Improv game show you’re almost certainly not likely to win but will have a great time nonetheless. Oh and you’ll also likely die.

PAX Aus 2025
Too many good photos to fit into a single slideshow. Apologies to the ones that didn’t make the cut - you’ll hopefully never find out.
PAX Aus annually reminds me that it is my favorite show to work across all the PAXes. Besides the insane food and coffee around every corner, it’s the attendees here that really make you want to come back. They have an incredible amount of active communities for each subset of the show, and really seem to welcome anyone with even the slightest bit of interest in wanting to learn more. They treat PAX almost as a lifestyle brand honestly. The enthusiasm shows via the lens.
Too many people to thank, but special shout out to the PAX Aus team including @astrokerrie for crushing it this year. So many new friends made this time from the moment I got on the plane out of the States. I guess it’s finally time to get into Magic?

Digital Darlings @ Sunset Tavern - 10/2/25
My friends @nicoleeols and @keevy_19 , who graciously modeled for me for this year’s PAX Merch photo shoots, asked me to shoot their new band @digitaldarlingsmusic ‘s first show. The entire show had an Emo/Myspace theme, so I made sure to don the tightest pants I could find in the closet and some circa 2007 band merch to fit the part.
We had fun.

Photographing Dom Palmonbi’s Game Night is always a fun time and never the same show twice. Each time I’ve had the chance, he’s pulled together a new cast of incredible musicians across a multitude of instruments and they absolutely crush it every time.

It’s been awhile since I’ve photographed a band in a proper music venue, so when my friend Ben from @hotbodiesinmotion let me know he was planning on bringing a surfboard to surf the crowd on at their next show, I pretty much demanded he let me be there to capture it.

PAX East 2025!
Another one in the books. This year was the latest EAST we’ve ever done so everyone got to enjoy some actual decent Boston weather for once! Thank you to everyone who grabbed a grabbed a piece of merch or complemented the design of this year’s theme. It was a very intense couple of months working extremely close with @tonytouchtat2 to nail down all the graffiti properly, but I’m incredibly happy with how it all came out. Design post to come later.

After spending almost the entirety of 2023 sifting through ~350,000 images of the past two decades of PAX, I’m ecstatic to share the fruit of my labor with the 20 Years of PAX photo book. Huge shouts out to @thekiko for the trust in letting me handle this project from start to finish, @gavgreco for the hundreds of hours spent at my kitchen table fixing up all my layouts, and to @lideejaah and @okaydenjen for keeping everything on track so people could actually get their hands on the book in time for this year of shows.
