Little Seed is an author, painter, performance artist, curator, fiber artist, and sometime religion scholar based out of White Salmon, Washington. She received her BA in Comparative Religion from the University of Puget Sound in 2019, graduating cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, a Matelich Scholar, and as the recipient of the Daryll Reeks Award for Demonstrated Commitment to Social Justice and Ethics.
Her literary works have been featured in the Seattle Times, Grit City Magazine, The Trail, and Bone to Brain Literary Journal, among others. She began this journey at 16, as a 2014 winner of the It’s Always Something Gilda’s Club Writing Contest.
Little Seed’s visual art has been featured in Crosscurrents Literary Journal, as well as several features in group gallery shows including Collective Visions Bremerton (2014) and Ars Poetica Bremerton (2022). She was an Artist in Residence with the Grünewald Guild in 2021, eventually joining the Guild staff as a curator for the development team.
In 2017 Little Seed was the recipient of the Matelich Challenge Grant, which she used to facilitate and curate The Project, an experimental art-barn and showcase, filmed as a mini-doc with Ron Torres. Little Seed is one of the founding members of two curating collectives, Lila Collective and Bouquet Bouquet, both based in Tacoma, Washington.
After years of performing poetry, Little Seed has dipped her toe into performance art, most notably impersonation of beat author Richard Brautigan. She attended the Clown School of Los Angeles in winter of 2025. Recently, Little Seed was honored to be chosen for the Salty Quill Women Writers’ Scholarship 2025.
