ALUMNI STORIES - MEET DANIEL ANETO 🌟
Daniel graduated Kaospilot in 2021 and has since been playing an active and important role in Aarhus’ cultural scene - developing, leading and contributing to countless projects.
We sat down to speak about an important moment that shaped him, and to discover what his life dream is 🪽
But first, let us introduce Aneto in his own words: “I’m an afro-nordic cultural entrepreneur, storyteller, and creative director, aiming to contribute to more inclusivity, representation, and meaningful collaborations.
I’m the 25th generation of Kaospilots, and today at the age of 30 l have my own small creative business working at the intersection of arts, community, and experience design.”

We spent 2025 developing a new concept — and in 2026 we’re launching the pilot project Curators Collective, which will culminate in a showcase during @spotfestival !

Det er på tide vi åbner døren til vores verden, og invitere jer med ind i vores nye samarbejde!
Vi har skabt WAVEN — et uafhængigt Aarhusiansk musik label og booking agency, skabt med ønsket om at skubbe en ny lyd og starte nye bølger i musikbranchen.
WAVEN er til for de underrepræsenterede stemmer i musikkens verden — de hybride individer der flyder mellem grænser i identitet, ophav, kultur og lyd.
“WAVEN vokser ud fra en sammenfletning af arbejdet bag @tekrrecords og @nowyouknow_nyk , hvor vi hver især har arbejdet for at give musikere, DJs og lokale organisationer muligheden for at udvikle sig med en kunstnerisk frihed, udenfor de normative standarder i branchen.”

Things I didn’t do in 2025 🙌🏾
I did not…
(1) learn how to play a saxophone — (2) but I did get to see one the best saxophonists in the world
(3) make a music video — (4) but I did have a lot of supportive friends dancing to my own tune at the clurb
(5) become a barista. No ‘but’ here ..
(6) move to Minnesota — (7) but I did go to celebrate my wife becoming a JD and say a proper goodbye to Minneapolis.
(8) become a high school graduate — (9) but I did get accepted for a Master in Art Direction at LABASAD School of Art & Design
(10) become a model, designer, writer or publisher, but I did start releasing my own online Magazine, where I kinda did all of that.
(11) stop eating simple danish food
