💡 Students from Elisava’s Master in Design Through New Materials (@_organicmatters ) have participated in “Material Driven Design Studio: Lighting Systems”, an activity organised by Diego Ramos (@d_ramosc ), where they had to materialize a lighting system based on the intrinsic properties of the material they were using.

✨ Happy to announce that at Collectible Brussels 2026, I will be presenting— together with @vasto_gallery — a preview of the MYKO collection, the outcome of my latest material research.
MYKO stems from an exploration of the rhizomatic growth of mycelium, understood not as a formal metaphor but as a biological craft and technology. Through a process of self-assembly, the organism acts as a structural agent, consolidating matter and creating connections without the need for external fasteners.
The result is a practice that could be described as Artisan Biocraft — a hybrid territory where traditional know-how, technical control and biological autonomy converge.
I’m very much looking forward to your reactions to this preview of a new material experimentation, presented in the form of vases.
The pieces will be on view at Booth 04, alongside these incredible creatives:
@polagusti , @maxmilaserra , @sararegalalonso , @forever.studio , @ritsch.sisters , and @makingspacepregnant
