מוזיקה היא חלק כל כך גדול מהחיים שלי
ולאחרונה הרגשתי שיש מלא רגעים יפים לשתף
מהאולפן, מהסלון, ביצירה לבד
ומשיתופי פעולה עם יוצרים שאני אוהב ומעריך.
מעולם השירים שאני בא ממנו
ומעולמות הסדרות והקולנוע שלמדתי להכיר.
החלטתי שיהיה מקום בו אני יכול לשתף את העשייה שלי יותר מקרוב,
לקשקש יותר בעברית ולהראות רגעים מהכאוס בדרך
וזה מרגש כי הרבה מוזיקה חדשה הולכת לנחות פה בקרוב!

It always was, and still is, about the journey.
And the best journeys are the ones you walk with people you look up to. I guess this is why collaboration is probably one of the most powerful things for me in the creative process.
When you connect with someone through music, you realize again it’s a language without borders. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your background is. Sometimes it’s just a melody. Sometimes it’s a drum loop or a sample, and suddenly it tells the story of everyone in the room in that exact moment.
It becomes something you share. And we’re lucky enough to document it, even though sometimes it can make it harder to stay fully present in the experience. Still, somehow, you end up capturing a kind of magic.
I love making music on the road, It somehow feels more free and more real, with less judgment. Stepping out of my comfort zone. Being in unfamiliar places. Searching for the connection between cultures and sounds - old and new - that seem like they don’t belong together and trying to make sense of them when you mix them up.
That’s what making Safe to Disconnect was for me. An album that was created on the road - a collage of moments with friends and incredibly talented musicians I met and created with. Recorded in bars, fields, street corners - mostly ideas and musical accidents that somehow found their way into an album. which im very much thankful for.
I really can’t wait to share with you what comes next!
