Finally dropping some fire shots from this incredible event put together by the crew at OX Centro Giovani. I hit the stage after reconnecting with a bunch of old friends—crazy to see how many still remember who Sheldon was, even after all this time.
Proof that silence never killed the music. D.A. Sheldon still stands strong in the local scene.

That year, Mr. T (@tommasoscarpellini ) and I set out to create a project rooted in love and respect for the golden age of hip-hop. What began as five tracks became a tribute—crafted with conscious lyrics and classic boom bap beats, all sampled straight from vinyl through AKAI machines.
The name of the project was inspired by the number of bars in it. While the count may have changed over time, the mission never did: to connect with people through raw, honest music.
This album, like all my work, is both therapy for myself and—hopefully—a source of reflection or relief for others. It’s about speaking on the everyday struggles, staying real, and cutting through the noise that often clouds today’s messages.
Though a few years have passed, this record still hits home. Timeless in spirit, even if aged in release. Sharing it once again, in case it speaks to someone new—or just hits different this time around.
