Jiann is a DJ and producer based in the Philippines whose sound is shaped by a broad range of club traditions such as disco and balearic house. His sound focuses on flow, pacing, and atmosphere, always grounded in what works on the dancefloor while leaving room for exploration.
Jiann has released music on Twelve Point Records and contributed to Sounds Nais compilations. His productions reflect the same balance found in his sets—functional, open-ended, and rooted in a genuine connection to the dancefloor.
Jiann co-organizes 333 Party and not-so “summer” club night Klubibi, platforms built around forward-leaning club culture and community-driven lineups.

ThirstKid echoes a playful pulse that is both unique yet deeply interwoven, much like the archipelago he calls home. His sets often navigate through soulful, trippy, dubby, and fun sounds, moving through warm disco and breezy house, around and always sometimes beyond.

Escu approaches DJing like flipping through time — pulling sounds from different eras and letting them hang out together for a while. His sets move through funk, soul, disco, and house, sometimes quick and playful, sometimes slow enough to let simmer. A dedicated record collector with a soft spot for analog (but no strict rules), he’s more interested in how music feels than how it’s delivered.
He’s also one-fourth of Roll The Dice (RTD), a Manila-based group known for throwing carefully curated parties over the past few years and has shared his music across the archipelago in spaces like Unknwn Manila (PH), Aloha Got Soul (HNL), and Bar Part Time (SFO) — each one leaving its own mark on the journey.
For Escu, DJing stays simple — good music, open ears, and following whatever feels right in the moment.

Papa Jawnz has always been about showcasing raw emotional energy through diverse and rare music. Blurring the lines between disco, balearic, house, jazz — and everything in between — his sets are known to bring everyone on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
A warm presence in Manila nightlife, he was a resident at the now-defunct queer underground space Futur:st and currently a member of Transit Records. Papa Jawnz continues to explore DJing through his project Jasphonica, a party series dedicated to the disco parties of long ago.
We're excited to have him back on our shore, being the first guest of our humble imprint and one who understands our flow!

Before he ever learned how to DJ, he was already deeply rooted in Surftown life—working as a barista and a surf instructor, spending his mornings in the water and his afternoons behind the coffee bar. That foundation shaped not only his lifestyle but also the way he connects with people and community.
He moved to Surftown in 2019 and currently works as a barista at El Union Coffee and Little Cat Coffee, where everyday conversations, shared playlists, and spontaneous moments continue to shape his musical taste.
We're quite excited to have him for Stokesilog @nokal.manila this Saturday as he pushes us off into our first few waves of the night!
