Hi everyone, I’m Dianna, the face (and everything else 😁) behind Diamonds & Daffodils Event Planning. I absolutely love working in this space and am passionate about helping people bring their ideas to life and watching their visions unfold. I also love a list and being organised — some might even say to a fault. My happy places include anything wedding or party-related, flowers, dancing, sunrises, sunsets, the beach and of course, dogs. While I have been organising parties for family and friends for many years, the idea for this small business truly blossomed (no pun intended) when my eldest son got married two years ago. After hosting a brunch send-off at my home for the groom, his attendants, and about 50 wonderful guests on the morning of the wedding, I finally found the courage to put myself ā€œout thereā€ and created my social media accounts shortly afterwards. Think of me as your ā€œgirl Fridayā€, the extra pair of hands who can set up, style, coordinate, and most importantly, pack down, because who really wants to come home at 2am after one of the most memorable nights of their life and walk into a house that looks like raccoons have moved in? I am also a huge believer that everyone deserves to be celebrated, no matter what their budget is, so I will happily work within your numbers to make your occasion memorable. A Full Circle Moment In 2024, Paige was the winner of our inaugural social media contest, earning the opportunity for us to organise and style her combined bridal shower and hen’s day. Fast forward to January 2025, and we had the pleasure of setting up our sand wax candles at her wedding venue, celebrating her union with Alexander. Yesterday, one year later, we were invited back to assist with the celebration of their next chapter—their baby shower. We set up and styled the space, warmed and plated the food, and, of course, handled the pack down and cleanup after the event, hosted at Paige’s aunt’s home. We provided all the linens, table runners, water dispenser, platters, wooden boards, and glassware, as well as setting up a ā€œMum-osaā€ bar for the occasion. We also styled the bud vases with lovely fresh flowers supplied by Luisa from Petal and Posies Adelaide. @petalandposieadl It was a true family affair for 40 guests, filled with love, laughter, and delicious food, all in honour of the soon-to-be parents. Sending all of our best wishes to this wonderful couple as they eagerly await the arrival of their newest family member.šŸ’ŽšŸŒ¼

Yesterday we had the pleasure of assisting Daniela from Magic in Every Day Yoga and Wellness with her first Women’s Circle for 2026 — a meaningful and warmly received event. Despite the searing heat of over 43 degrees, the beautiful group of eight ladies who attended were not deterred, fully immersing themselves in the experience. This is our third event supporting Daniela, and it is always an honour to work alongside someone so dedicated to creating connection and intention-filled experiences. We assisted with event styling, food preparation, and with pack-down and cleaning at the end of the day. We also supplied hire items, including a floral wreath, battery-powered candles, a rug, vases, plates, linen napkins, and a selection of serving platters and boards. One of the joys of planning and delivering smaller, intimate events is the personalised service we are able to offer. Every event we create is carefully tailored to suit individual needs and visions. At Diamonds & Daffodils Event Planning, we believe the most beautiful weddings are created through connection, care, and thoughtfully personalised details. For nine months, we had the privilege of working closely with the beautiful Chantel and her lovely mum, Sharryn, providing full-service coordination to bring Chantel and her groom, Michael’s vision to life. Every detail was considered with intention, reflecting their unique style and story. From church styling and hand-crafted bonbonniĆØres to a beautifully styled breakfast and mimosa spread for the bridal party, we ensured the day began calmly and unfolded seamlessly. Behind the scenes, we coordinated an incredible team of talented small-business vendors. We also styled the reception at the stunning Pavilion in the South Parklands with our sand wax candle centrepieces. Being present throughout the day allowed the couple and their loved ones to relax, be fully present, and soak in every special moment. Yesterday we had the pleasure of sourcing, organising, and styling a beautiful grazing style set up for our gorgeous bride, Chantel, and her lovely attendants, while they got ready for the big day. This service is perfect for anyone preparing for a wedding or any other event, who simply does not have the time, energy (or headspace) on the day. We take care of absolutely everything — from the food styling to providing all glassware, plates, platters, tablecloths and more. This allows you to relax and soak in every special moment, because all you should be focusing on is creating life long memories with your family and loved ones. What a wonderful day it was. Yesterday, we had the privilege of planning and overseeing a beautiful Christening celebration for a precious little boy. Our setup included elegant sand wax candles, customised table numbers, a round welcome sign with an easel, and heartfelt ā€œIn Memoryā€ and ā€œGiftsā€ travertine stone plaques, adding a personal touch to the event. We also arranged the bonbonnieres, ensuring our clients could relax without worrying about the setup process. Held at the Cypriot Club, the staff were incredibly accommodating, serving delicious food that made the experience seamless. DJ Tommy T from Signature Entertainment once again created the perfect atmosphere, keeping guests on the dance floor with his fantastic music. We were thrilled to have The Backdrop Hire Co provide a stunning cake plinth and a beautiful two-panel backdrop, while The Sweet Studio wowed everyone with their stunning and delicious cake. Successful event planning thrives on effective communication and collaboration, and everyone involved in this event truly went above and beyond, making our job a breeze. Danielle and Franco’s Beautiful Wedding Day Yesterday, we had the joy of assisting at the home of the bride, Danielle’s, parents, ensuring everything was perfect for the family’s special day. From heating, plating and serving delicious food, to packing down and cleaning up, we made sure the focus was on family and celebration. With an extra pair of hands on deck, the lovely mother and father of the bride were able to savour precious moments with their daughter and loved ones, free of stress. This is not our first time working with this wonderful family—we also had the honour of helping with Danielle’s bridal shower earlier this year. We really love being part of these very special milestone celebrations, and wish Franco and Danielle all the very best that life has to offer, as they start their journey as husband and wife. šŸ’ŽšŸŒ¼
