Yuko is an award-winning bartender, based in Royal Hotel Co. since 2014. She will be mixing her signature cocktail ‘Armonias’, along with two other Buffalo Trace Bourbon concoctions.

We would like to introduce our new bar manager Shinya Hikiyashiki, who has recently moved to join us from Tokyo.
Shinya-san is an award-winning bartender, and runs his own bar @bar_nocturne.jp in Tachikawa City since 2005. Around 20 years ago, Daiki and Shinya will sometimes even meet in the same competitions, he is an old friend indeed!

A Margarita is built with tequila, Cointreau, citrus, and a touch of sugar syrup to lift and bring the whole drink into focus. 🍸
Shaken with carefully prepared ice, we control dilution and aeration to create a balanced structure with subtle layers throughout, so come have a cocktail soon ar our bar.

Our whisky of the week is the ‘The Nikka Nine Decades’.
This special bottle is a blend of various casks distilled between the 1940s and the 2020s, comprising an astonishing total of over 150 different components involved.
Alongside its remarkable depth of maturity, waves of bittersweet richness, layered spice, gentle peat, and an aromatic sweetness unfold all at once on the palate.
The bottle design itself features traditional Edo-style carving, a time-honored Japanese craft technique. Do take a moment to appreciate the intricate artistry reflected in its presentation as well.
This is a special bottle truly meant to celebrate 90 years of Nikka Whisky. 🥃

A bottle matured in rare bourbon casks, for 12 years, you might think it is relatively young but this expression delivers a truly solid sense of depth and weight. The palette also showcases distinctive citrus notes that slightly differs from the distillery’s usual house style, making it a truly interesting expression.
