WHEN CHEFS DINE OUT AND HAVE ANOTHER GREAT RESTAURATEUR WITH THEM….. what can happen. But great food and company. So after @thestaffcanteen invited us to a spinsored lunch a few weeks ago @morchelladining where I met Chef @ben_marks_perilla I decided to go again for dinner. So with our dear friend and creator of The First Cafe Spice Namasté concept 32 years ago and still a great restaurateur and with a very sharp mind, Michael Gottlieb his wife Ulla and of course @mrstodiwala Whilst chef Ben was at the other restaurant Perilla, we were extremely well looked after by the team and the food was on point. Some chef peer benefits do come by but nevertheless we had a great evening. I saw some of me in that menu and food too, being different, creative, breaking boundaries and all with the best of simplicity. A great evening one to now visit with the family again. Well done team Morchella and thank you so very much for your hospitality.
