In 2019, @shaunevaristo told me to stop looking at myself in the mirror. Not because looking is bad, but because it was keeping me from actually dancing.
I was so focused on how I looked that I stopped feeling what the music was doing to my body.
That one note changed how I practice.
And eventually it became a feature in the tool.
Mindful Mode makes the screen go dark while you record.
You stop performing for the camera.
And start listening to the music-body connection more.
The music still auto-syncs when you’re done.
