HONEYYYY I’M HOME!!
The collection that reminded me of why I love this craft so much.
I’ve spent countless hours pouring myself into these shades. I’m so proud of what I’ve created.
These lampshades are all made using second hand materials sourced by yours truly.
These really were a victory lap for me, a push to the boundaries of what I believe I can make.
I fell back in love with creating while I made them.
I hope you can feel it when you look at them.

Saturday marked 5 years since the kill the bill protest where we saw extreme police brutality. Like many who attended I also was subject to this brutality.
A biased, one sided media coverage which painted the protest out to be a ‘riot’ and only told one side of the events of that day, but let’s never forget who provoked that ‘riot’.
For the 40 activists sentenced over 100 years served.
We saw some of the most harsh sentencing, with some still serving time today!
My thoughts go out to all of those affected by the injustice! Brutality! and down right fascist state we are now living in! And especially to those still serving a sentence! And those who still feel the trauma of how we were treated that day!
To all of those still out on the streets! Fighting for our rights‼️
We will not be silenced!
We will keep fighting!
They tried to silence me before for speaking out, but they will never shut us up!
Brick by brick! Wall by wall! We will make these prisons fall!

Wishing you all seasonal blessings and hoping you’ve all had a lovely time over the Christmas period - I know this can be a very difficult time of year for a lot of us treat yourself accordingly! Sometimes we just need to curl up on the sofa to get through it.
I’ve definitely had to slow down a lot recently and take some time for my mental health, this time of year has brought me a lot of heavy sadness, there is so much pressure around Christmas to feel happy and uplifted but that isn’t always the case and that’s okay too!

Still reminiscing this photoshoot! Such a beautiful day full of beautiful powerful women, dress up and play! Super grateful to have such amazing kind women in my life! This day brought me so much joy ✨
