🍓🚲 Nothing punctuates “I had a blast at GRAVEL!” quite like a mountain of whipped cream and fresh strawberries on sweet cornbread. We leveled up the finish line this year with homemade Strawberry Shortcake from @spin.pdx and some seriously rad vibes. 🍰✨ How iconic is one of our favorite 80’s icons (who’s traded a pink bonnet for a rad polka-dot helmet) shredding on a gravel bike? Shoutout to @maryroselytle for the sticker design and @rxskulls for getting them made for the event. Y’all are ✨ It’s the perfect badge of honor for everyone who pushed through the dust to get to the dessert. Grab your treat, slap on your sticker, and soak in that post-ride glow. You earned every single bite! 🤘🍓 🌾🚫 Because no rider gets left behind, even at the dessert table, we made sure the gluten-free crew could get their shortcake fix with cake made just for them. ✌️

They say the “Spirit of Gravel” is a feeling but we wanted something we could hold in our hands. And because we want to leave all the rocks and dirt where they belong, we turned to one of the artists in our new The Art of the Ride blog series. 🏔️ 🎨 For this year’s GRAVEL, Early Bird registrants took home a piece of gravel spirit to enjoy every day - a custom, screen print by Portland artist Eddy Johnson, aka @dentistpdx The artwork is a literal layer-cake of Wasco County culture. The base layer pulls topography maps along with design elements from a 1956 Wasco County Rodeo program found right in the fairgrounds kitchen where we camp. On top, Eddy layered his signature style with the icons that actually matter: be kind, self-sufficiency, inclusivity, adventure, and our pal @carsrcoffins motto that “any bike is a gravel bike if you believe in yourself”. Limited to just 100 prints, it’s a piece that will remind riders of the connections Cycle Oregon creates between communities across the state. A massive thank you to our Early Birds for helping us keep the “Spirit” alive and weird. And to Eddy, keep it rolling! We 💛🖤 you. Kim I

ADMIN REVEAL - Chris DiStefano, Marketing & Communications Manager for Cycle Oregon I used to be a V8 skeptic. I was certain—absolutely certain—we didn’t need it at our rest stops. I’ll go ahead and take my seat in the “I was wrong” section now. 🪑🤡 At GRAVEL ‘26, the people spoke once again. Not only were the friends I was riding with hyped to see the salty, tomatoey goodness, but a rider who overheard our conversation walked over to show me a photo of his V8 jersey from the day before. Message received, loud and clear. I will not question Brad again about this. Sorry, Brad! Cheers to the V8 drinkers at Cycle Oregon! 🍅🚴‍♂️

“It was super fun to get a little weird and quite literally shake things up a little bit.” — Ron Lewis / OMTM ⚡️🚵‍♀️✌️ A huge thanks to Ron and the @omtm.cc crew for leading us through the Friday Shakeout Ride at Cycle Oregon GRAVEL 2026. We had a blast rolling out of Tygh Valley for an 11 mile cruise with so many friends old and new to get a little sun on our cheeks and dust on our tires. It was a slightly spicy appetizer for the weekend of riding ahead; perfect for getting bikes and bodies tuned in with a little bit of weirdness. 🚲🌀✨ #gravelcycling #gravelride #gravelbike

Gravel riding and an Athletic pop up shop, what could possibly be better? We're headed to Gravel, by @cycleoregon , with basecamp set in the White River Canyon, where high prairie meets the foothills of Mount Hood. Surrounded by rolling farmland, forests and wide-open skies, it’s the perfect set for two unforgettable days of riding the roads less traveled. At night, the Twilight Cup creeps out with a one-of-a-kind mix of oddball bikes and quirky challenges. Consider us intrigued and READY! ✌️ You coming? Stop by and say hi!
