We are five days away from Orientation, and are so excited to welcome our newest PA students!
And our Class of 2028 looks like they are so excited to be here with us, too. Check them out visiting some of Cleveland's finest spots, including Pins Mechanical and Mitchell's Ice Cream!
We are so excited to welcome you all!
📣CWRU PA students to the OR!
This week, our students attended an Operation Room Skills session at University Hospitals for our summer Clinical Procedures course. Very excited to see everyone grow this summer and prepare for clinicals!
Exciting news! One of our second-year students, Sofia Ivanoff-Tzvetcoff won a scholarship!
"I am honored to be a recipient of the Physician Assistant Latino Health (PALH) Scholarship, which supports PA students dedicated to serving Latino and underserved communities while promoting diversity within the profession. This scholarship recognizes a commitment to leadership, advocacy, and health equity which are values that are central to my work and future career.
As a PA student at CWRU and President of PA SALUD, I have been fortunate to engage with Spanish-speaking communities through health screenings and education initiatives. Receiving this scholarship is incredibly meaningful, as it affirms my dedication to improving access to care and allows me to continue growing as a future provider committed to underserved populations!"
Well done, Sofia!

It's one of our favorite things about the spring semester- Nutrition Detectives and Oral Health! Our students took turns traveling to different schools in the Cleveland area to teach elementary students about the importance of brushing their teeth and eating fruits and veggies. A fun time was had by all!
Wanted to share a HUGE thank you to first year students Abigail Chute and Brenna Kukić for participating in the CWRU Pre-PA Club Conference this past weekend and serving as panelists! What a great opportunity to engage with prospective PA students and represent our profession! 🩺

Special delivery to the CWRU PA Program! Last week, our students participated in our Labor and Delivery activity day and our annual birthing SIM. Our students did great, and special shoutout to Professor Gebeshian, and our faculty, for making it a fun, and educational, week!
