Congratulations to Finchley Symphony Orchestras very own Trumpet player and Composer Sam Thackray for a very successful Orchestral Premiere of his wonderful Composition “Aphorisms for Sinfonietta” at our concert tonight. Sam and FSO’s excellent Conductor Christopher Stark, both pictured here, are all smiles after the concert in which Sam’s piece was thoroughly enjoyed by all our audience.

last week’s first stab at touring 🚲 . Grateful to bikey for behaving itself, for being advised about chamois cream just before leaving (not shown in pictures), for the magic skies - and for the calm solitude it all - but have never been happier to see another human as I was with the lovely surprise of bumping into Rozenn and family in Paris at the end!
