Come join us to celebrate Community Vision and ensure a more accessible and inclusive future! This is our annual fundraising event. Cocktail party style with a Silent Auction, Wine Wall, Raffle, short Program, and Paddle Raise. It is always a blast of an evening! "Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter." - Brian Solis /MyEvents/PartyforPossibilities2026/tabid/1573367/Default.aspx
The CV community celebrated the holidays by coming together for an afternoon of karaoke and cocoa! Old friends and new socialized, played games, and sang to each other.
Even in this dark and rainy time of year, the people we support have the opportunity to feel the warmth of connection and belonging. May 2026 be full of joy and community for all! ❤️🌲✨

Every day, Community Vision helps create a world where people with disabilities are included, accepted, and able to live the life they choose.
Medicaid funding has been critical to these efforts. For people with disabilities, Medicaid-funded programs go beyond access to healthcare and include support in the home, community, and at work. The people we support are able to live life on their own terms because of our services.
Looming cuts to Medicaid threaten people's ability to choose where they live, how they spend their days, who their caregivers are, and other basic aspects of their lives.
Let's show our community that this is unacceptable.
Join us and donate to continue ensuring agency, dignity, inclusion for people with disabilities. All people deserve to make the choices that define their lives.

When people can make their own choices and get the support they need, great things happen.
A year ago, we shared the story of Tyler. He is part of our Supported Living and Employment Connections programs. One of the first things you learn about Tyler is that he is passionate about helping people. At the time of our story, he was volunteering several days a week, helping people who were food insecure get something to eat.
A year later, Tyler, who is now 23 years old, is still passionate about helping people and being part of the community. Through the support of our Employment Team, Tyler now works two days a week at Cafe Yumm. In addition, he’s still volunteering at a food bank. Like most people, Tyler was thrilled to get his first paycheck. His commitment to the well being of others led him to donate a portion of this first paycheck to his favorite causes.
This is what Community Vision is all about. By helping individuals thrive, the community itself grows stronger.

Community Vision provides services funded by Medicaid that help people with disabilities live rich, fulfilling lives.
Alicia is part of our Supported Living and Employment Connection programs. She knows first-hand why these services matter.
“Independent living makes my world beautiful. If I didn’t live independently, I know for a fact that I would feel like I’d fallen through the cracks and become someone’s burdensome responsibility,” Alicia says.
You can help Community Vision continue our work to foster independence and inclusion for people with disabilities. Please make a donation today so we can continue to support people like Alicia to shine brightly and live a beautiful life.
Did you know that Medicaid funds employment support for people with disabilities? This means people like Quentin can find meaningful work and live independently.
Now, these services are under threat with cuts to Medicaid. Community Vision, however, remains true to our mission to provide services, education, and advocacy to ensure that people with disabilities direct their own lives.
You can support our work by making a donation and signing up for our newsletter on our website: CVision.org.
We need your support! Community Vision provides high-quality services to people with disabilities and works to ensure they direct their own lives. This includes home care, employment support, access to tech solutions, and housing navigation.
"Being part of Community Vision means help with finding an affordable place to live independently that's also a friendly home," Julia says of her experience.
Many of these services are now under threat with federal cuts to Medicaid. Community Vision, however, stands steadfast in our mission and vision of world where people with disabilities are included, accepted, and able to live a life they choose.

Looking for housing can be overwhelming. With a disability, the barriers to housing get even higher.
That’s why we started our Housing Access Program. We work with people with disabilities and their families to overcome those barriers. Here's a recent success story:
In mid-August, our Housing Access team started working with Valerie. She had a notice to vacate from her current apartment and needed to move as quickly as possible. Valerie is a participant of the Housing Choice Voucher program, so her income was not an obstacle to finding a new property that met all of her housing needs.
We assisted her with transferring her voucher to a new unit and finding apartments in her neighborhood that fit. Valerie fell in love with one of the places she toured. We worked with her to submit an application, and she got the apartment.
All that remained was an inspection that would allow her to use her Housing Choice Voucher. While waiting for that, we coordinated with another agency to ensure Valerie’s security deposit was paid.
The apartment passed inspection. Valerie move in on October 1. She quickly got settled with her belongings and dog.
Valerie told us she loves her new home and is enjoying learning how to use her new high-tech appliances.
Welcome home, Valerie!
