Amidst the gray buildings and overcast skies that characterize the stereotypical imagery of the Milanese suburbs, distinct and defined stylistic codes emerge, capable of narrating and representing the backgrounds from which individuals come. The desire to reclaim one’s roots is embodied by the collective Walk The Talk, an all-female project that conveys a captivating aesthetic and lifestyle, highlighting the values and lifestyle that the suburbs offer and that continually influence Italian popular culture. Together with
@dovevai_arge , we spent a day following part of the Walk The Talk team, focusing on the style and attitude of each member while connecting the places and infrastructures that define the environment from which the collective originates and draws ongoing inspiration.
