One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the last couple of years is how important momentum is.
When things are moving forward, your focus is on growth, on the things that allow you to scale and win. But then certain things happen. Tariffs. Things outside your control. And suddenly the business shifts from focusing on winning to focusing on solving problems.
The big lesson? Protecting momentum and overcoming obstacles quickly is everything. Momentum compounds. When things are working, they really start to work and it accelerates fast. But that same compounding effect works in the other direction too.
As a founder, your job is to constantly identify problems and solve them fast and to hire great people who help you build and protect that momentum.
Going into this year, I’m more excited than ever. Over the last few years I’ve grown into a seasoned CEO and It feels like @cuts is just getting started. The next five years are going to be something special. 🚀
