今年のニューヨークはとても冷えていて、過去20年で最も寒い冬だそうです。しかしここデトロイトは、その異例の低温をさらに凌駕する、極寒の世界。
敬愛する音楽家達の故郷にて、星達は静かに響き冴えてゆく。
厚手の上着の内に我を纏う自分が何者であるかを確信し、今ここにいる意味を再認識します。
春に向け根を伸ばす樹木と共感し、着実に折節のページをめくっている事を理解し、人生は神聖な贈り物だと強く感じます。

Spending time in Detroit is something very sacred to me. I had an extra special experience in the hometown of musicians I love and respect. It's bittery cold but
wrapped in my thick coat, I am certain of who I am and realize the meaning of my being here now. I emphasize with the trees, extending roots toward spring and I reaffirm this life is a precious gift.

Drawing on styles of funk, soul, hip-hop, and more, CUTBIRD’s sets are a window into his world, featuring deep selections and thoughtful blends that paint a compelling picture of sound.
