⭐ YOU can make a bigger impact within the Sauder community! ✨ ‼️ CUS is looking for individuals to join the standing or extraordinary committees as members-at large. 💡 The CUS has established committees to oversee and govern different aspects of the CUS, ranging from academic affairs to relations with faculty and the university. Therefore, there is a variety of committees to choose from! 💡 These committees vary in their functions, and most notably, members of the general public can hold seats within these committees and participate in the CUS’s planning and operations. Committees play a crucial role in helping the CUS support all commerce students during their university career. This is your chance to have more voice within your university experience. 💡 Swipe to see the detailed descriptions of each committee! HOW TO JOIN: 1️⃣ Send a 200 word statement (one statement/ committee) to [email protected] by May 8 11:59pm PDT. Max 2 committee applications. 2️⃣ You will then be invited to speak at the board meeting to vote. If you are unable to attend, the chair of board of directors will read your statement.

On March 14 at 2:00 PM, the puck officially dropped for the first-ever EUS vs. CUS hockey game 🏒🔥 From a penalty shot and a nail-biting scoreline to an all-out brawl on the ice, this game had everything you could ask for. With over 400 attendees in the stands and full student rosters made up of athletes from each faculty, the energy was unmatched. After an intense battle, Commerce came out on top with a 6–2 victory. A huge thank you to all the players, referees, volunteers, and organizers who made this event possible! And to everyone who came out to cheer on their faculties, show their pride, and support their friends — thank you for making this such an unforgettable event.

Fresh air, and a stronger team! 🍂 Our 2026 CUS Retreat gave us the space to step back, reconnect, and strengthen the relationships that will shape the year ahead. From shared laughs to meaningful conversations, each moment brought us closer as a community. 🛶 Stay tuned for what’s coming next! 👀
