A message from a family who took one of our private tours in Washington DC: Just wanted to say Thank You!
What a fabulous way to spend my 80th birthday!
Clift was amazing. We enjoyed every step of the way.
My grandsons were totally caught up with all the facts and side stories. And that’s hard to accomplish with a 26 and 22 year old.
My daughter and son in law found new meaning to DC, not just the political stuff but our history.
It’s been a pleasure dealing with you from our first interactions.

The Cherry Blossom Festival began this weekend and the nearly 4,000 Japanese flowering trees did not disappoint. With the weather remaining warmer, the trees are blooming right on schedule. There are ways to enjoy the festival more socially distanced including virtually or visiting surrounding neighborhoods of Washington where the blossoms are also visible. Undoubtedly, the main act is on the Tidal Basin which will bring the biggest crowds on the weekends. Leave your car at the hotel and let us help you plan the safest and most comfortable experience to be able to view this incredible and time honored event. For more info on the festival check out the official website. /
The viewing of the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery is now accessible after months of restricted viewing. Great news as we see more gradual reopening in our nations capital, along with some warmer temperatures. Book a tour with us to see this with other incredible sites, safely and comfortably, before the larger crowds arrive. Thanks to our guide, Buck Johnson, for the photo. #arlingtonnationalcemetery #tourdc #igdc #mydccool #walkwithlocals #wwlxdc
The Capitol Building sure looks magestic in the snow! Throughout the government shut down, the Capitol, Library of Congress, and Supreme Court remain open for tours every day, except Sunday.

The government is still shut down and you already have your flight booked to DC. Now what?? 😫

📰The Newseum is an interactive museum that promotes free expression and provides a evolutionary narrative of communication. Some of the stand out features, in this seven story building, are actual pieces of the Berlin Wall, the gut-wrentching 9/11 gallery, Pulitzer Prize-winning photographs, and a daily sampling of the front page of various newspapers to represent every American state. The outside terrace is a great place to snap a selfie with the background Capitol building or survey Pennsylvania Avenue and beyond
