A new space for digital knitting, built around the Kniterate ecosystem.
Over the years, the Kniterate community has created an incredible range of work: garments, panels, swatches, technical samples, research pieces, experiments, production tests, and larger production runs.
But much of that work has lived in separate places: personal computers, studio folders, university and research lab archives, social media, or conversations that are hard to find later.
With Customist, we want to give that work a better place to live.
A place to publish designs, share images and technical notes, choose licenses, remix public work, and discover what other users are making.
Your designs remain private by default. When you choose to publish something, it can become part of a shared space where we can learn together, get inspired, and help others build on what you have discovered.
