We're recruiting for the next cohort of Training Institute participants, so we figure it was time for a quick refresher on what we do at Custom Collaborative. Cohort 15 will begin in September! We're hosting virtual Open Houses this week and next to answer all your questions about this game-changing training program. Our DMs are always open for questions, so message us if you're interested in learning more, or share this post with someone excited to launching a career in fashion.

68% of Training Institute alumni are parents. Just like Pauline from Cohort 14, whose daughter modeled her creation on the runway. That means the majority of our community isn't only investing in themselves. They're modeling what perseverance and growth look like for their children. Opening doors to new income opportunities that unlock more possibilities for the whole family. This Mother's Day, we honor all the moms doing the hard work of becoming, so the next generation can go even further. 💐

She'd been working in a factory for years, but nobody ever taught her how the clothes she was making actually came together. Our CEO @the.ngozi.okaro shared this story on the Mechanism Worker Voice podcast, and it says everything about the why behind this work. When you invest in people, the results speak for themselves. Listen to "The People Who Power the System" at the link in bio

Florals for spring? When they’re handcrafted by @tulalututus and inspired by a fan favorite fairytale, they actually are pretty groundbreaking. See the (very sped up) process behind her look that walked the runway in February. Now, she’s bringing this care and dedication to the women of Cohort 16 as one of our Classroom Assistants!

On our radar lately 👀📱 In her latest op-ed, waste expert @thetrashwalker makes the case for an Office of Circularity, turning waste into opportunity. Circularity isn’t just good for the planet, it’s good for people too. Link in bio to read more about it💭
