Digital fictional collage of real analogue advertisements from the 60s to 1990s geared towards the then so called TS and CD (❌👗) communities.❤️🔥
Hot summer days spent digging through the Tr4ns Digital Archive, i became addicted to specifically the advertisements. More precisely: the erotic impossibility of advertising something intangible and to this day widely and wrongly considered undesirable! 🥰
Nearly every single element of this meticulously arranged collage has a different source; the resulting ads are fictional but based on true events.
It was very emotional and fun to connect the community’s continuums spun through so many lifetimes… and to discover the many parallels to today. Excited to explore archival work and tr4ns history more in the future! 🥹
