It was an absolutely stellar day at the opening of Eagle Tree Park out at Foreshore last weekend. Over 400 people attended the grand opening to celebrate the fantastic new community asset delivered by Stockland in conjunction with @cityofgoldcoast . CUSP is stoked with the outcome. Well done to @interfacelandscapes and #playscapecreations on the build! .

The recreational kayaks at Newport Waterside Park East have been an absolute hit! The man-made lake provided opportunities for us to extend play and activity beyond land and onto water... how's that for some fun in the sun!!? The community have embraced this wonderful park and we're so thrilled to see families and locals enjoying it! Another epic park delivered ✔️

Three years after planting, we revisited our project at Northlakes - a medium density residential development called SOLA, by Stockland, and we were very pleased to see the gardens are thriving!! The townhouse complex features a central open space that acts as a communal backyard for residents, as well as streetscape and private courtyard planting. The main challenge was to coordinate and accommodate streetscape planting in front of units in the internal road whilst maintaining services leading into each unit. Livistona Palms, Fig Trees open grass areas and picnic table settings are among some features of the landscaping.
Landscape architecture inherently serves as a legacy for present and future generations, as it often takes years for landscapes to become fully realised.... we always keep this in mind when we are designing, and are passionate about facilitating this process. .

The team witnessed a spectacle this morning when our Director and bee-enthusiast Dan Wright cracked open the office Bee Hive filled with stingless native bees. Whilst the honey tastes ‘a bit like bin juice’ (according to audience reactions), this bee hive provides a home for a species battling habitat loss. They have in turn pollinated a crop of dragon fruit on our terrace that we were able to enjoy for morning tea today! An important reminder that we must consider wildlife in our designed environments to ensure we sustain essential biodiversity and healthy habitats. .
