After 31 years at SU, Dr. Bradley Ethington made his final appearance as the Director of Bands today, a well earned retirement awaits.
Thank you for all of your time, musicianship, teaching, and being an incredible mentor and colleague to everyone at Syracuse, Dr. Ethington!
You will be greatly missed!
The Pride of the Orange - Syracuse University Marching Band is proud to announce its history’s 27th Orange Girl Feature Twirler, Maddie Eby!
Maddie is from West Point, NY and has been twirling since she was 2 years old. She is a rising Senior at SU studying philosophy and psychology. Maddie is most excited to have the honor of performing again and being apart of the marching band!
Everyone please help us welcome Maddie in her debut performance with the SUMB at the home opener game against New Hampshire on Saturday, September 5th in the JMA Wireless Dome!

On the last day of classes, the Wind Ensemble gathered one last time to work with Dr. Ethington and read a new piece by student composer Mihir Borah.
