Here's also the list of all the tools and materials used:
Base wig
4 packs of additional braiding hair
Glue gun and about 10 glue sticks
Hair brush and comb
Sharp scissors
Hairspray
Blow-dryer
A bowl of water (to prevent the glue from sticking to your fingers)

This is the first time I've done so much work on a wig and I love it. There were a lot of hairspray, additional hair and burned fingers in the process but the result is very nice and fluffy

The magic behind the Ruination
The jet black blade of the ruined king actually glows in the dark!
I don't use any batteries or LEDs, only luminous paint and some sunshine to make the sword come to life every night
It's also a great solution for when you can't decide whether you want a black or colourful blade
It's a tricky effect to capture but at some point there will be a picture of the armour in it's full glow

A cosplay built in two parts one year apart.
Once the weapon itself was completed the best thing to do was find a costume to match. A great fan concept and a lot of sanding later the full look is finished!
