I met this moth at a coffee shop. He tried to hide in my sleeve 🙅🏽♀️, but he settled for clinging to my hoodie. He followed me home, but while I was making him an enclosure from a mesh laundry bag he changed his mind and flew away. I can’t find him, and now I’m worried he’s gonna eat all of my clothes. 😩
Slug life. My third grader’s in Gardening Club at school so she brought home Leopard the Slug. I made a terrarium. He’s hiding comfortably, and he’s had a bit of lettuce so far. 🥬 They can live 6months to 2 years. Hope he likes it here!

This pic is from October 2023 when Luke and I participated in the Transformer Comedy Festival at Hot Plate Brewing Co. in Pittsfield, MA. I can’t believe it was three years ago. I don’t have pics of myself saved in my phone from that time. Too busy wrangling my then-5-year-old.
The Internet gets things right sometimes. Greek yogurt + cream cheese and a little honey with Speculoos cookies overnight makes a VERY good stunt double for cheesecake! I saw YouTuber emmymade make one. My first version had graham crackers, and they may as well have been mushy cardboard. Biscoff is where it’s at because they’re sweet and spiced. I made some strawberry purée with berries, lemon juice, and little honey in a sauce pan. Welcome back to #curlycomedycooks under the watchful eye of my head chef Watson.

Do something today that scares you. 🧗🏾♀️ Thanks for the encouragement @trueunice ! Letting go for the auto belay to kick in pretty much counts as skydiving, so I can cross that off my bucket list.
Had an amazing time at @yellowandcoevents with @comedianluke in Mahomet, IL for Valentine’s Day weekend! The @lovesajokecomedytour is always a fun time! The comedy club green room screen featured a who’s who of comics we know and love (and got to know through The Living Room Show back in the mid 2000s).
Love the gift shop next to the comedy club. Found the cutest strawberry candy earrings!

Over Christmas I assisted my friend Eileen in her business of designing commercial spaces. We spackled, painted, wallpapered, dusted, and redecorated the central wall of Daisy’s Diner in Park Slope. They have THEE best burger in Brooklyn! Go check it out and admire our work.
