🦁 The year is 1913, and the Rochester Public Market has just opened to the residents of this fair city. Eastman Kodak, Western Union, Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony have placed Rochester on the national map. A great flood has swept the streets. The garment district is booming. Newspaperman Frank Gannett reports on the current headlines and well-known visitors to the city’s popular fruit and vegetable stands; watch and listen closely as stories both on (and off) the record are revealed.
Rochester-based performance company Cat + The Coyote brings whimsy and wonder to RCR with this immersive historical interpretation. Move through narrative scenes in several different locations throughout the Rochester Public Market while you sip craft cocktails from the crews at Bitter Honey, Ziggy’s, Cure and Rumble + Stir.
Vintage and/or black attire is preferred; wear functional shoes as the show is a progressive performance on the Public Market grounds. 21+ only.
7:45p arrival for 8p show | 8:45p arrival for 9p show
Ticket includes immersive theatre performance + three elixirs. (Additional cocktails will be available for purchase at the end of the show.) Sponsored by Heaven Hill.
