Be like Rio! 🚨 24 HOURS LEFT 🚨We need to raise $6,485 more by noon tomorrow or we lose everything. Our 8-year-old son Rio raised $137 with a sidewalk sale for the Amazon. If he can step up for the forest, so can you. 232 backers have gotten us to $42,515. Indigenous elders are waiting for us to return with cameras to complete their story. The Amazon Rainforest calls people from around the world—millions have traveled there for healing, for ceremony, for meaning. Yet the very same forest, and the cultures that carry her wisdom, are precariously close to extinction due to deforestation for cattle, for gold, for oil and for precious minerals. So, what does it mean to seek healing and wisdom from a place that our modern appetites are destroying? This work isn’t based on a eureka moment that spilled from the mind of one artist; it’s a genuine co-creation with the forest and two Guardian tribes: the Nomanwa clan of the Noke Koi people, and the Cofan people. What the forest, the medicines, and the people taught me in my journey across the Amazon, in Colombia, Peru and in Brazil, is that this isn’t a question to answer—it’s a wound to feel. And just maybe, through that feeling, we can begin to heal and reconnect. We have seven days left to fund the final, critical shoot for the project. Please consider supporting and sharing our kickstarter today via link in bio.

ACURA is an act of narrative sovereignty - a reclamation of how stories are told , how healing is understood, and how we remember our place within the web of life. Born from deep collaboration with Amazonian guardian tribes, it honors not only their wisdom, but their ongoing resistance and resilience. We are not separate from the forest. We are one living system, calling each other home.

CURA reimages the Amazonian maloca as a sensory vessel where sight, sound, and architecture become medicine. Upon entering, you cross a threshold alive with sonic currents that guide you into a ceremonial space. As you settle into the floating tensile hammock beneath a suspended screen, the forest arrives before any image appears. Vibration flows through your body at frequencies known to entrain gamma rhythms associated with heightened consciousness. These vibrations connect seamlessly to the architecture, creating a direct sensory pathway to deeper emotional engagement with the forest and its guardians. What you experience unfolds in four acts - Shadow, Pulse, Spirit, and Return. Each one a passage deeper into presence, deeper into the forest. CURA bypasses cognition to forge an emotional, somatic connection - awakening joy, kinship, and possibility where once there was only anxiety and grief.

CURA is where ancient forest technology meets radical cinema—an immersive ceremony that transforms viewers from the inside out, awakening our bodies to what Indigenous guardians have always known: personal healing and planetary survival are one sacred journey. This isn’t a film you watch—it’s a living ritual you enter. Suspended in a hammock beneath a hovering screen, the rainforest doesn’t just appear before you—it envelops you inside a 12-channel soundscape of forest life and ancestral ritual. Spatial audio and vibration resonate directly through your body as the hammock becomes a living instrument, dissolving the boundary between body and biosphere. Born from profound collaboration with Amazonian guardian tribes, CURA bypasses the overwhelmed mind and speaks directly to the body’s ancient wisdom. In a world paralyzed by data and despair, it offers what is so desperately needed: the felt experience that we and the forest are not separate—we are one living system calling each other home. This is ritual cinema for a species in crisis—art that doesn’t explain healing, but enacts it. Re-membering that shows healing ourselves and healing the Earth are not separate journeys, but one sacred path.
