I wanted an outfit that I could wear casually outside of a clown costume, so this is what I stitched up! Subtle clown vibes lol
Roped @_mikey_munoz_ into being a clown with me, and we somehow procrastinated into starting it 36 hours before the NYC Halloween parade, bc you know, it seemed like plenty of time. (I’m always wrong lol) But we had to share sewing machines and I had to nitpick over lining and hand stitching certain parts. He sewed his first costume!
Also thank goodness I randomly own large bows and detachable collars that happen to match our outfits lol. Mikey pulled off last minute pom poms for us too. We made it just before the parade ended at 9:03 when it ends at 9 🤡

Everyone cracked up when they saw that I had a piece of a broken crown to pose with, and were so excited when I handed another piece of the crown to them for our photo. It made me so happy to see people’s eyes light up and laugh when they saw my cosplay. Definitely the silliest cosplay I’ve ever done.
I made the dress from scratch to make it as screen accurate as possible because I love accuracy lol. I fixated on that bow for way longer than I would care to admit.
@_mikey_munoz_ did such a good job constructing my halo! We had to spray paint inside our NYC studio apt which was not ideal, and decorated it the morning of lol.
