Announcing our lineup for this weekends Honouring Our Fallen Warriors Event. Join us at Camp Sovereignty on the 25th of April from 5pm to pay our respects to the fallen Indigenous warriors of the frontier wars. So called ‘Australia’ wants to recognise on this day the wars fought over seas, but they never want to recognise the First Nations people who died defending their Land from colonisation and genocide. Under the stone at Camp Sovereignty lies the remains of Indigenous peoples representing 38 Nations that are now wrongfully bordered by the illegal state of ‘Victoria.’ It’s a sacred place and the fire is still the eternal flame and spirit, burning long before colonisers arrived on these shores. We will have a smoking ceremony, dances, music and the opportunity to learn more about those who defended their Land from British Invasion.

@dardimunwurro held an insightful and important panel recently on the lived experience of First Nations people who have been incarcerated. @culture_evolves and myself were honoured to be asked to share some Yidaki and dancing. Brent led the way on dancing, such a deadly fella. We are both taking bookings individually and together for the upcoming months, if you, your company or someone you know would like us to come by your workplace please get in touch. We love what we do and are also a couple of deadly dads, Ouss Ouss. 🔥 Also deadly dads in Melbourne keep your ears and eyes open, we want to get together with you for a walk, yarn and to share some stories and culture. United we stand.

It was an honor to perform at the 20th Anniversary of Camp Sovereignty. From being there when the protest first began at 11 or 12 years old, to now at 31, sharing ceremony and protest through dance on sacred grounds — it's a powerful, full-circle moment. Big thanks to Uncle Robbie Thorpe @crimesceneaustralia for having me. 🙏🏽 I dance for my ancestors, for the present, and for the future generations of all living beings. Thanks brother @arama_mataora for the 📸 #CampSovereignty #SacredGrounds #ProtestThroughArt #HonoringAncestors FutureGenerations

I find it hard to post sometimes because I see culture and ceremony as sacred, and being there to witness ceremony is where the spirit is, But I'm going to start sharing more of what I've been up to over the past, present, future Before we went into rehearsal for the Black woman of Gippsland @melbtheatreco on gunai/kurnai country,
