2024 recap
Some pretty amazing projects & the largest to date. Thank you to my skilled assistant Crew who works behind the scenes & alleviates my carpal tunnel. ⭐️
This video took me a million zillion hours to compile. A great way to commemorate that I spent the entire year shifting away from dumping my precious time into this vortex.
I’m sure by now AI can compile and masterfully edit all 5,387 images & videos from 2024 but what’s more fun than doing this manually & losing my mind …?

Started off 2023 with one of my favorite projects for one of the coolest clients & creative artistan @corinnelent .
I’m a little behind on the reminiscing game as the final days approach, and I’ll be pushing it into the new year as I motivate and find inspiration looking back on my creative journey - which becomes much clearer when I’m not in the middle of it 🌟

This landscape panel is for a local Columbia Gorge lover to be installed in a transom over their front door. Most of the glass I selected is rare Uroboros, manufactured in Portland until their closure in 2017. The rest is all vintage I’d been hoarding for years waiting for the right time to use it, which had finally come. And that beautiful sun is Bullseye, one of my most favorites they produce.
Yesterday was the culmination of a few weeks of having this on the table, hours&hours of intuitive glass selection & the dedicated work of my amazing assistant team to bring it all together in my specific vision.
The moment where I get to lift this skinnyBabe off the table & connect my internal vision to the external result is pretty special ✨

I made this panel as a duplicate to a commission from earlier this year. I fell so deeply in love with everything about it. In the last-minute chaos before the show I grabbed it to display.
At the end of the day a lovely couple I had seen quietly browsing earlier locked eyes with me, pointed to it with that glimmer in their eye & smiles exchanged, it came time for me to let it go.
We chatted when I lovingly packed it up, and in a funny string of idle conversation discovered they live 1/2 mile up the road from me. ✨
I’m making another one this week to keep in my space for personal mental health & morale improvement…. until the next time …
some cycles are clearly worth repeating 💕

A few votives from a batch I made months ago and loved enough to keep & enjoy. With a new & improved website completed (thanks @jillsbecker !), I’ve been photographing pieces I had stashed away before last month’s medical chaos with Nate. He’s getting better & I’m back to work, ready to make more of all the things that bring me joy ⭐️

ByeBye2025
A successful year of continuing to prioritize focus&intention towards genuine presence & immersion in the frighteningly fleeting moments of this precious life.
Still here doing what I love, thanks to the clients who bring these incredible opportunities to me and provide the perfect guidance within the realm of creative freedom.
This local Portland client & interior design team had a vision for a deco aesthetic panel to be set in a custom built transom between the kitchen and living space. This past summer they came to the studio with renderings of the space & inspiration color swatches. From initial consult to colorway collaboration to hand drawing the design to construction & finishing, that moment I hold my babies up for their lion king photo shoot before sending off into the world is always so preciously bittersweet. This one reinjuired my shoulder but was worth it ✨

These two large deco sidelight panels will be hung in the clients entryway, floating in the window frame. The clients provided the basic color direction of bold warm tones and design aesthetic for the pair to be uniquely complimentary. I hand drew the design, flipped it and included minor adjustments to the second panel based on the remnant cuts of glass from the construction of the first panel.
Since my departure this year from intentional (& often disruptive) content creation in the studio workflow, I feel my work is rejuvenated. More personal and authentic. I’m so grateful for this incredibly satisfying opportunity to call this my full time commitment and those that are a part of it… my assistants and my clients and you too. ✨

I’ve worked really hard to detach my routine from the content machine & I’m in this incredible space where I feel grounded in my extraordinary life. There are days I get little snaps of missing those days of so many years where I spent hours creating&editing&agonizing over providing engaging content posts, but it passes quickly and I just post a dumb snap in my stories and feel really great about that

Thanks for following along through it all ⚡️

I have another landscape commission in the queue with the simple guidance of “do your thang, we trust you”.
I’m marinating on design & became nostalgic for this project from last year, Three Sisters in Oregon.
My baby birds in the garden have fledged so my tripod has migrated from their nest back to the studio. Unless another bunny nest pops up, I’m likely transitioning from backyard National Geographic to glass capture daily 😎. Maybe.

This commissioned deco panel is for a client who gave me the general parameters & let me just do my thing with tremendous grace & patience ⭐️
I admit that when a project is completed I tend to want to hold onto the piece for a week or so in the studio to just enjoy it, be inspired & allow myself to hold space and gratitude for this unbelievable life.
It’s an interesting realm to maintain, a constant seesaw of creation and release.
Fulfilling & depleting.
Anyways, this is what happens now when I force myself to write a post during my 6am morning coffee. See why I stick to flashy stories!? 🤪
Now let’s go check on that mama bird cam in my garden before I pack this panel up for its new home 💕…

Hello! I’m still here! I’ve been taking the most fabulous break on creating curated content and just enjoying living in the moment. It’s more my speed these days to be a serial storySnapper just sharing life as it comes without having to edit and hashtag and write a mini blog and obsess over music. And the platform is all fancy now, it’s a lot. I DO MISS reading your comments though. Anyways life has been a whirlwind of adventures as usual, a ton of travel and teaching workshops and some very fun commissions and the usual chickens and homestead activities.
