@ulu.soulfoodoasis is based on the idea of a mythical hearth – a central booth, symmetrical corners, and intimate nooks. From the entrance, the eye is drawn to the illuminated bar and an authentic 19th-century sculpture, giving the space a sense of calm. Light guides the entire space, dividing zones, creating tension, and shaping the atmosphere without rigid barriers. Materials include stone and raw plaster, paired with soft woven fabrics, linen, and brass. ULU marks our sixth collaboration with the same investors. After the success of @woosabi.pl concepts across Poland, being invited to create something completely new is a huge honor. The restaurant was developed in close collaboration with their vision, turning inspiration into a functional, emotional space. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis 📷 @pietruszkafotografia

@ulu.soulfoodoasis is inspired by the colors of earth and fire. The restaurant layout is based on clusters of seating, referring to the idea of a mythical hearth. Light plays the main role, literally directing the space. Organic textures, pleasant details, wood, stone, weaving. All together, they create a space with a very distinctive atmosphere. And all of this on Granary Island in Gdańsk, at 10 Chmielna Street. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis Gdańsk

There’s a saying „painted with light” and in the @ulu.soulfoodoasis it really comes to life. Here, light is a design material. It shapes the space. Instead of uniform lighting, there’s a composition of focal points that naturally guide the eye. The lighting is designed in layers. The key elements - the bar, the sculpture on the main axis, and the central booth are treated like scenes in a theatre. In between, there are more intimate zones, softer and perfect for conversation and slowing down. You could easily say it’s a space directed by light. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis 📷 @pietruszkafotografia Interior design | Hospitality design | Restaurant | Gdańsk

We designed the interior @ulu.soulfoodoasis around smaller seating areas. The groups of tables vary in size and shape, which helps create more privacy. From the entrance, you can see a clear main view that ends with a sculpture at the back. Important features include the bar and the central lodge, which can be used from different sides in different ways. Smaller, more private niches with curved seating surround it, which are good for quiet conversations. The space also has a large shared table on a raised platform, for bigger groups. We wanted the space to feel like different clusters of seating, arranged in a way that reminds you of a mythical hearth. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis 📷 @pietruszkafotografia

The materials in @ulu.soulfoodoasis are inspired by earth and fire. They feel a bit heavy and raw, but at the same time they bring a kind of warmth that reminds you of a fire and a very natural sense of comfort. We combined thicker, more organic textures with soft, pleasant details, so the interior isn’t obvious it has depth. There’s a lot of wood, stone, natural plasters, woven elements, brass and linen. Together, it creates a space with a very distinctive vibe. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis Gdańsk, Wyspa Spichrzów 📷 @pietruszkafotografia

The project @ulu.soulfoodoasis was a direct extension of the investor’s vision. The interior is inspired by the archetype of a raw, sheltering cave, creating a strong sense of comfort and protection. Natural materials such as wood and stone highlight its atmosphere. The layout of the restaurant is based on clusters of seating, referring to the idea of a mythical hearth. “We wanted the space to feel earthy, warm, and authentic. ULU was meant to feel a bit like an old temple, a bit like a museum, but in a modern, light way as a place that is alive, accessible, and full of warmth. In a world that is constantly rushing, we wanted to create a space where you can slow down” - the owners say. 📍 @ulu.soulfoodoasis , Granary Island in Gdańsk, at 10 Chmielna Street 📷 @pietruszkafotografia

The main idea of the project @brunchery_warsaw was to combine two functions in one space. During the day, the place works as a breakfast spot, while in the evening it becomes a more intimate restaurant space with cocktails and dinners. The interior was designed to easily adapt to these two ways of use. Different lighting scenarios were introduced to match the time of day and the character of the space. The product display also changes in the morning the focus is on pastries and take-away, while in the evening alcohol and wine become the main focus. Several unusual solutions were used in the project. The back-of-house area was placed inside a compact box with a lower height than the ceiling. This allowed all installations to run above it without interfering with the main space. 📍 @brunchery_warsaw @towarowa22 📷 @pietruszkafotografia Space design | Restaurants | Investment | Interior design | Design studio

Two times of day, one space. @brunchery_warsaw in Warsaw’s Wola district is a restaurant designed to change throughout the day from morning brunch and lunch to evening wine and cocktails. The key elements of the design were light, product display and a flexible layout that allows the restaurant to transition smoothly from daytime to evening mode. 📷 @pietruszkafotografia Restaurant interior design | Interior architecture | Hospitality design | Commercial interiors

The materials in @brunchery_warsaw were inspired by the colors of the menu - the deep reds and pink tones of wine in the evening, and the lightness and crisp feeling of morning pastries. The natural, raw structure of the building (brick walls, ceilings and floors) was combined with fabrics and wood to add warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Every detail, from colors to textures, refers to the two different times of day and their unique character. 📸 @pietruszkafotografia 📍 @brunchery_warsaw @towarowa22 Interior design | Design studio | Industrial style | Warsaw restaurant | #industrialinterior
