Decided to massacre my boy, a fullsize Ducky Channel One v1 that had horrible mx blues. Here's the frankenmod timeline:
- desolder a fuckton of mx blues after painfully taking it appart
- lube and rebalance the stabs
- solder 10 million new linear switches
- alphas are lubed gat black inks
- mods are stock gat oil kings
- all the rest are lubed akko rose reds with a 55g spring swap
- tape mod
- MORE TAPE
- bit of pillow fill inside for the hollowness
- random AliExpress clear keycaps because it was the only ISO set I had
The plate is fairly bad, some kind of painted aluminum, so there is extreme pinging. This was my first mech keyboard back in 2013. 10 years later, I managed to make it worse but sound a bit better 😬
