🚨 PLAYLAND: A Queer Affair Pride Edition 🚨
Our next Playland will be a real celebration of queer creativity on several fronts, starting with The Sissies of Mercy as our special guest DJs! Anyone who knows resident DJ Brian Halligan knows he's been singing their praises for a while now, and that this has been a long time dream to have them at ManRay & he's thrilled to be on opening duties for them.
The duo have Massachusetts roots, having gone to Massachusetts College of Art and Design before their move to Brooklyn where they DJ regularly at landmark parties and venues like Gabriela, House of Yes and Good Room among others.

@mxdemeanor using an image of the notorious, iconic Boston drag performer Sylvia Sidney with the kind permission of reknowned photographer Jason Byron Gavann, who will also be featured in a show of his photographs in the Pup Lounge from his portfolio "Mr. sister queer, queer warriors, pussy pirates and drag kings" and whose incredible body of work documenting early Boston's queer nightlife has been recently rediscovered and celebrated by gallerists and curators nationwide.

@divann.i on the pole, and a cast of gogo dancers from our own community of hotties throughout the night 🔥
With Steve, Haley, Lindsey, on the upstairs bars, Cub Rye slinging drinks in the Pup Lounge. 🍸
This will surely be the Pride event of the season, and we will not be selling advance tickets, so get there early!
