the next era of GRAiN Inc. is coming. thank you all for being interested in this part of my brain. The company has technically been alive since I decided to make this my career but since choosing a name officially it's been about 5 years or sumn? From the name, to my art, videos, films, albums, production work, etc. I let these things choose and create themselves and I TRY not to think too hard about it. Sometimes I'd say and do things I don't understand until much later. For about 5 years I wasn't myself. I was spiritually very sick. I was in a hole I was aware of and I knew I wanted to fix myself but unsure how to do it. I'd have bursts of me feeling like me but majority of the time I was broken. I had a life changing experience recently where I actually got physically sick while having to navigate a land that wasn't my own. Biblical missions lol. I was essentially forced to do things I should have been doing and I really had to lean on God more than I ever have. I was brought back to 2019. I had a different type of fire, focus & strength dem times. It's back now and I'm noticing how everything is changing around me. I'm learning to not take a lot things personally. It isn't about me, it's bigger than me. I thank God for using GRAiN as a vessel. Photo by @aysha.beee . Full photo album will be available on the site soon.

Many people asking if I’m still making music. It’s crazy because this album just came out within the year so I’m wheeling it back up on your feed. Available everywhere. I appreciate all those who have listened and if you haven’t, now is this time. If you don’t care that this dropped please leave. I say that with love I promise. Make sure to put your friends on. We live Aug 23rd @ Trillium Park. Talk soon🤎

Thanks so much to the entire cast and crew for making this such a blessed experience. Everyone really snapped. The homies are a part of this too. I'm grateful I got to be a part of such a special and dope film. 🤎 Talk soon.

HBD "Do You Drive?" This album is so special. At the time this was me in my rawest form. No clutter. No one could tell me shit making this. From the art, to the sounds, to the freedom. I tapped back into a lot of the things that raised me. This album was about 3 R's. Reflect. Reminisce. Recapture. That's exactly what I did. Everytime I listen to it it reminds me of video game osts, vhs tapes (specifically the texture), the neo geo, the 80s/90s, my fam, etc. This was so raw and I knew this is where I wanted to be forever. This wasn't about aesthetic. I was living this everyday. right after this album I made another album that existed in the same universe naturally. It was the craziest shit ever. I wanted everyone to hear it tho so "it so it's not how it sounds" served as a buffer to bring more attention to what eventually became "they said it would rain...". It took longer to come out than expected so the og tracklist & name changed but Half the songs from "tsiwr" og remained and the other half will be on the next full length. These 2019 compositions released/unreleased really exist on their own planet till this day. The OG name as well as the images still exist and you will experience it. "Do You Drive?" VHS Tapes will be releasing soon. All the music videos, unseen footage, unreleased music from that time, We're talking a few hours of footage so stay tuned and thank you so much for listening to that record. If you haven't go listen, it'll feel brand new.

"they said it would rain..." been out a month. thank u all so much <3 this shit not easy n if niggas say it is there's a good chance they're not pushing themselves this hard. a big part of the game has been dismissive in multiple ways towards me n mine and what I'm capable of for about a decade now but you can find GRAiN DNA riddled throughout. this isn't just art to me tho. what we're doing is heavy. this isn't just an aesthetic. the blue on The Guise isn't make up. I said this before but you guys know there's much more to come right? Story isn't over. - ceo of GRAiN. pics by @aysha.beee

thank u all so much for listening to the album. watching our films. spreading the word, etc. best ways to listen to the album is on a mild night with light winds, grab headphones. obvs if its too cold stay inside lol. maybe a late night drive, bike ride, a 30 min walk. those are some of my favorite ways to take it in. try playing it around the homies. this albums a film soundtrack so just play it all the time and you'll always find yourself in a different scene. we have much more on the way. how u guys feeling? I'm prolly gonna do that question thing on my ig story throughout the week or something so look out for that. enjoy some more "validate" frames. grainpwrd.com full site coming soon.
