The Mother Bear. Originally released in 2017. It was a collaboration with Tlingit artist Nahaan. The design of this gi is very symbolic on multiple levels. It is a tribute to mothers, with the mother bear being a symbol of an animal that guards her young. It is also in a way a symbol of why a lot of us train Jiu-Jitsu, for self-protection, as well as for protection of our loved ones. The tag line “PROTECT YOURS” is a summation of the overall concept.
