My 2023 3D Biomedical Visualization Demo Reel :)
I'm really proud of how this turned out! This is the culmination of all of my 3D animation learning. A year ago I'd just completed my first ever animation - a short 2D animatic in AfterEffects - and I'd never rendered out a single 3D animation frame. Now I have a minute and a half of my favorite clips to stitch together. It's cool to see how much I've learned!

she gets ONE tattoo and SUDDENLY she's the expert smh
my insatiable thirst for knowledge made manifest in a zine. shoutout @rylee.sky (and also @rickzacchi ) of @okapi.chi for inspiring this. i said i'd make you a poster but i lied! i made you 8 tiny posters that, together, form a zine
i'd like to thank the academy, nicole and mia for inspiring this bosch tattoo dream all the way back in highschool, and laurel & fib for accompanying me to my appointment and performing their role as The Council (telling me when the stencil needed to be adjusted)
if anyone wants a printable file lmk i'll blow the dust off my copy of indesign and relearn bleeds and margins for you
A cover image created in collaboration with Breast Cancer Action for one of their many informative Fact Sheets and Toolkits.
This particular Fact Sheet provides information about Ductal Carcinoma in Situ - "a condition of abnormal, but not cancerous, cells found in the lining of the milk ducts, and has not spread into nearby tissue. It is the most common type of non-invasive breast 'cancer'."
Super cool organization, super cool people, doing super cool things π

A figure created in collaboration with Breast Cancer Action for one of their many informative Fact Sheets and Toolkits. The goal of this piece was to show the location and characterization of DCIS in the breast.

A cover image I created in collaboration with Breast Cancer Action for one of their many informative Fact Sheets and Toolkits.
This particular report details the "efforts to bring medical products to the market to reduce breast cancer incidence in healthy people, as well as the problems created by this approach, and explains why the organization opposes a pills-based approach to breast cancer prevention."
Super cool organization, super cool people, doing super cool things π

a fun one for the ol' timeline :)
I drew @katherinedoesartandstuff 's D&D character for an art exchange! This smooth-talkin frog Slippary When-Whete would not even bat an EYE at finding herself at the center of a cartoonish tavern brawl. What a woman π

I attended the @sama_uichicago figure drawing event yesterday with my brush pen, my tablet, and my very very rusty figure drawing skills. I decided to use my brush pen to avoid getting caught in the trap of erasing my mistakes, and I'm super happy with the results!
