This past week, OEC staff and partners presented at the Child Care Aware of America 2026 Symposium about “Driving Change Through Collaboration: Connecticut’s Journey to an Early Childhood Education Endowment”.
Speakers shared how Connecticut is taking historic steps to strengthen its early childhood system with the passage of landmark legislation establishing the Early Childhood Endowment, reflecting the state’s long-term commitment to stabilizing, strengthening, and transforming early childhood services for children, families, and providers. OEC was thrilled to be able to share our vision with child care leaders across the nation.
