Thank you to @avonctpolice for hosting their annual Purse Bingo event. This unique fundraiser brought the community together in a fun and engaging way - playing bingo for the chance to win designer purses all while supporting Special Olympics Connecticut athletes & @ctletr .
We’re especially grateful to our athletes and Avon officers, including the Chief of Police, who went above and beyond - modeling purses, encouraging participation, and helping raise additional funds through bonus bingo cards.
A sincere thank you to the many local businesses who contributed raffle items and to everyone who attended and supported this event. Together, more than $16,000 was raised!
