Deeply honored to share this special painting my dear friends Marcel and James commissioned me to create for their new home. I’ve been lucky enough to know @littlelovefish since our days in the painting studios of @smfaattufts (check out his art @apostle.of.venus ) and met @truedreamofsky through our mutual art school friends back in Boston in the early aughts. Over all these years I witnessed their love grow, flourish, and deepens, celebrated their wedding with my own small family in tow, and seen them support each other through thick and thin. This opportunity to represent their love through a painting meant the world to me, as it’s the best way I can really express anything about how I feel. This project came at an important moment in my career as I transitioned into a full time Director role and feared I would lose my connection to the studio. I’m so grateful for this painting keeping me anchored to my practice and the support of friends who drive from San Diego in a heatwave just to visit and catch up!! Thank you again James & Marcel you are two beautiful souls who are even more beautiful together 💕💫💕💫💕💫

Incredibly proud to have partnered with Paramount and Spin Master to design a media arts project inspired by PAW Patrol:The Movie. Students considered aesthetics, play patterns, and sustainability as they designed an original toy for the brand.
Yesterday 143 students and their teachers arrived on the Paramount lot to pitch their designs to the folks who do this work and learn more about their careers.
