Connecticut owns and maintains 2,800 traffic signals, more than all of the DOTs in New England combined!🤯 They control the traffic lights, so there are no conflicting signals at intersections and the lights run smoothly. As you can see there are a LOT of moving parts in the box, and every one is important!

IT'S FERRY SEASON!!
This weekend we enjoyed a beautiful day on the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry, celebrating the start of the season. The Chester-Hadlyme and Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferry's are both open, so go take a relaxing ride across the river as often as you want through the end of November!

Burns led the milling phase on Route 104, removing the existing asphalt across approximately 1.5 miles as part of a resurfacing effort with the CTDOT.

Crews worked overnight to keep traffic flowing while still delivering consistent progress.
