The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at CSUSB celebrated its top students on May 5, recognizing not just academic excellence, but the determination, mentorship and community behind each success story. 🎉 We’re especially proud to share that Jose Ramirez II, a student from the Palm Desert Campus, has been named JHBC’s Outstanding Undergraduate Student for 2025–26! 👏 A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, student parent and information systems and technology major with a cybersecurity concentration, Jose exemplifies leadership both inside and outside the classroom. As president of the Ford Fellows chapter at the Palm Desert Campus and a participant in the City of Palm Desert’s Emerging Leaders program, he continues to make a meaningful impact in his community. Jose credits his success to the support and challenges provided by his professors. “My professors have played a huge role in my journey,” he said, noting how their guidance pushed him to think critically and stay curious in a rapidly evolving field. The recognition, he added, represents not only his own effort, but the collective support of mentors and peers. “It’s a reminder that stepping up, getting involved and staying committed truly makes a difference.” His advice to fellow students? Stay involved, keep learning and support one another. 💙
