CSUN alumna Gessele Malubag is an Administrative Assistant on the Global Publicity team at Universal Pictures. She manages schedules, coordinates travel logistics for talent and filmmakers, organizes press screenings and handles talent on-site at events. She supports the SVP of Global Publicity and assists the broader team in managing talent and filmmaker relations.
Previously, Gessele served as a Film Publicity Coordinator at Katrina Wan PR, a Scripted Publicity & Strategic Communications Intern at NBCUniversal within the Television and Streaming division and a Publicity Intern at Hallmark Media. She also served as Director of Communications for CSUN PRSSA from 2022-2024.

Our President, Alondra Ponce, and Director of Events (and incoming President), Nicole Diaz, had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2026 PRSSA Leadership Assembly in New Orleans, Louisiana, this past weekend!
Alondra and Nicole were able to connect and network with chapters across North and South America as well as professionals from various industries.
Alondra, our delegate, also took part in voting for the 2026-27 International Committee.
They strengthened their leadership skills, learned about the transition from student to working professional and made incredible memories!
