Dreams Made Here ✨: When Roger Fouts ’64 arrived at The Beach, he wanted to help autistic children who struggled to communicate. A sudden turn, however, steered him from psychology to primatology. He was the first to teach American Sign Language to a chimpanzee and served as a leading critic of great ape research. Reflecting on what he would tell students today, he said to keep your mind, but most important, keep your heart. Read his full story at the link in our bio. #GoBeach #WhereCaliforniaDreams
